A Little List Of Things For Your New Baby

There are so many things that you need when you are having a baby. There are essentials and then all the stuff that you want just cause it is cute. That’s our right as parents of new newborns to get them what they need and what is cute too.

You just never have enough of the things that go fast. Soaps, lotions and diapers are some of the fastest used so make sure you buy double. There are just so many things to list so lets just touch base on a few things.

Bath time is suppose to go easily but it usually doesn’t in the beginning. When you buy one of the baby bath tubs make sure that you get one of the ones that have the pockets in it so you can put your soap in there so it is close to reach.

You want to make sure that it is easy to reach because it can be hard to grab that while holding on to the baby. They are slippery in there so it is hard to do both at one time. They seem to like the little tubs better because it is a smaller environment for them and they can be closer to their comfort and that is you.

Toys are a want but always can be used. There are so many out there that you can use to stimulate your baby as they get older. Tummy time is more fun when there are toys to look at and grab. Some of the greatest moments are watching your little one play on the ground.

Just so I could play too. There are a wide assortment of baby toys, from activities centres, to exersaucers, to baby bath toys. There are just so many to choose from I wouldn’t even know what to pick. So my suggestion is a little of everything.

There are other things of course, like cribs, blankets, soothers, diapers, towels and playpens and strollers. Of course I could go on and on about the different things you need. One big important one is a car seat. Now there are tons of them out there. Do you prefer one that you carry the baby around in or do you like the ones that you leave in the car. I prefer the ones that you put rear facing in the car and left it there. I had one that was a Eddie Bauer Convertible car seat. It was so versatile that I used it as a rear facing car seat, then flipped it around for a toddler, then removed the straps for a booster seat. Essentially it is a three in one. It was my favorite car seat of all time and I recommend them to everyone.

Bath times are of course one of the most important times. You want to make sure that you have one of the baby bath tubs. One of the ones with the bins in it for soaps. I found that using the bathtub or sink never worked well.

Babies like to feel safe and they dont feel it in the sink or big bath tub. It is important to get one with the bins there because babies are hard to hold on to sometimes so you want to be able to focus on holding them.

Everyone wants to buy toys. There is nothing like buying bright colored toys and watching your baby learn from them. As they get older I found it was great to sit on the floor with them while they were playing.

I think it is all in a parents preference. I enjoy the car sears like the Eddie Bauer Convertible car seats. It goes from rear seat to front to toddler. The only thing is once you get it in the car it really stays there. So if you want something that portable and fits on a stroller it is a different kind. Really, it is all in what you prefer to use. You are the one that has to carry the others or carry the baby while it is sleeping.Everyone is different and wants different things so it all depends on what you want. I personally recommend them to everyone.

how to sanitize soft baby toys with batteries?

my baby likes to chew on his soft toys so i would like to sanitize them. how do i sanitize his soft, battery operated toys?

While I do agree with big hitter up to a point, I would still sanitize them once a week or so with a wipe or by using a washcloth dipped in some watered-down bleech. Then wash them off with a damp washcloth and a little soap. Other than an occasional sanitizing, I do NOT sanitize. I know people who use those things all over their houses every day. I also refuse to use that Febreeze crap, and other similar products. How could anyone think all of those chemicals are somehow better for their kids than a few little germs?

You have to give children the chance to get dirty and for their bodies to be exposed to some things to build up a healthy immune system. Also, exposure to animals and pets seems to keep them from developing allergies in many studies.

Once in a while is fine, but don’t try to be a germ Nazi.
