I rewarding my 8 y / o son tomorrow night for good behavior and grades recently, and he really wants to go to the theater … problem is, there is not just a lot of movies out there at the moment … Has anyone seen the new Christmas Carol movie and the rumors that it was' too scary for children's true?

My son saw it at a party birthday yesterday (he was also and he will say it was pretty scary. Why not wait a week and go see the Planet 51?
